Job summary

NA1 is seeking a Software Quality Engineer to ensure quality, reliability, and performance of applications through comprehensive manual and automated testing in an insurance domain context.

The role focuses on designing and executing test plans, building automation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years of Software Quality Engineering experience.
• Hands-on with Tosca OR Salesforce Testing.
• Strong automation and manual testing background.
• Familiar with STLC, defect lifecycle, and QA methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on requirements.
• Perform end-to-end testing across web apps, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Develop and maintain test automation using Tosca or Salesforce testing tools.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Validate Salesforce functionalities, workflows, integrations and data where applicable.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or similar tools.
• Collaborate with Developers, BAs, Product Owners, and QA Engineers to resolve issues.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, execution, and reporting.
• Ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements and insurance processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks.

We are looking for a Software Quality Engineer with strong experience in Tosca or Salesforce Testing and a background in the Insurance industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of applications through comprehensive manual and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform end-to-end testing across web applications, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Develop and maintain test automation using Tricentis Tosca or Salesforce testing tools.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Validate Salesforce functionalities, workflows, integrations, and data where applicable.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
• Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other QA Engineers to resolve issues.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, execution, and reporting.
• Ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements and insurance processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing practices.

Required Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering / QA Testing.
• Hands‑on experience with Tosca OR Salesforce Testing.
• Strong experience in test automation and manual testing.
• Experience with end-to-end testing, regression, integration, and functional testing.
• Strong understanding of STLC, defect lifecycle, and QA methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with API testing and tools such as Postman is an advantage.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar test/defect management tools.
• Insurance industry experience is required or highly preferred.
