Job summary

Neutron Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced QA professional to own software reliability, test automation and continuous quality improvement for an AI-driven document processing platform.

You will collaborate with business owners, developers and stakeholders to ensure robust testing across web, API, and AI components. The role emphasizes defining acceptance criteria, building scalable test frameworks, and coordinating UAT.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' relevant working experience.
• Strong knowledge of test automation strategies and risk-based testing.
• Experience designing and executing test cases, test plans and test suites.
• Hands-on testing for web, mobile and API services.
• Familiarity with cross-browser, cross-platform and responsive UI testing.
• Experience defining and executing evaluation criteria for agentic AI systems.
• Experience with Selenium, Playwright or Cypress.
• Knowledge of test scripting with Python, Java, JavaScript or C#.
• Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Ability to design maintainable, scalable and reusable test automation suites.

Responsibilities

About the role

You'll own software reliability, test automation and continuous quality improvement across both conventional software components and agentic AI capabilities for an AI-powered document processing and case intelligence platform on AWS GCC built by a Singapore public sector agency. 12-month contract with an optional 12-month extension.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the business owner and business consultant to define clear and actionable user story acceptance criteria
• Work with backend engineers to ensure automated test coverage and prevent bugs and defects reaching production
• Analyse and decompose complex software systems to design holistic, risk-based test strategies
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools
• Design, implement and execute comprehensive test suites covering functional, regression, exploratory and performance testing
• Perform time-boxed exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues
• Maintain a stable regression test suite integrated into QA nightly builds
• Lead system integration testing with other system owners to validate cross-system interactions
• Oversee UAT, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure business requirements are met
• Manage the defect lifecycle, test artefacts and test repositories to ensure clear tracking and reporting

• Knowledge of test scripting and automation programming using Python, Java, JavaScript or C#
• Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Bamboo)
