Job summary

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate has solid experience in manual testing, a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, and preferably, hands-on exposure to automation testing. The candidate must be a team player who takes initiative, contributes ideas for improvement, and works proactively to enhance product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual testing for web and mobile applications to ensure high-quality and bug-free releases.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, and designers) to understand requirements, identify test scenarios, and define clear acceptance criteria.
• Design, write, and execute comprehensive test cases covering functionality, usability, and overall user experience.
• Identify, document, and track defects using issue management tools like Jira, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution with the development team.
• Conduct regression testing to verify bug fixes, new enhancements, and ensure product stability.
• Participate actively in test planning, test strategy discussions, and QA process improvements.
• Provide usability and interface feedback to help enhance product quality and user satisfaction.
• Use QA management tools such as TestRail to organize, manage, and track test cases and execution results.
• Take initiative in identifying potential risks, suggesting improvements, and ensuring testing efficiency and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Experience or familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium for web or mobile applications.
• Knowledge of API automation and scripting (e.g., Postman Collections, Newman, or REST Assured).
• Understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• A collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to learning, improving processes, and supporting team success.
