About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Software QA Engineer to join our team in Cebu City. In this role, you will be the ultimate guardian of user experience and product reliability across our growing suite of vertical SaaS platforms, including our dental management system (Klinikly.asia) and loan management systems. Working in a fast-paced, agile environment, you will collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure every release meets the highest quality standards before reaching our users.

Key responsibilities

Test Planning & Execution: Design, write, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and user stories.Functional & Regression Testing: Conduct thorough manual functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across web and mobile applications to identify software defects.Bug Tracking & Reporting: Document, prioritize, and track software bugs using tracking tools, providing clear steps to reproduce and collaborating closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.Process Documentation: Assist in establishing and documenting standardized QA workflows, testing procedures, and release guidelines to optimize overall development efficiency.User-Centric Validation: Verify that new features not only function correctly from a technical standpoint but also deliver an intuitive, seamless user experience.

Qualifications

Experience: 2+ years of professional experience as a Software QA Engineer, QA Analyst, or in a similar software testing role.Testing Methodologies: Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes (including SDLC and Agile/Scrum).Technical Skills: Experience testing web applications, APIs (e.g., Postman), and database integrity (SQL queries/Supabase).Analytical Mindset: Sharp attention to detail with an analytical approach to breaking down complex systems and spotting edge-case vulnerabilities.Communication: Strong communication skills to clearly convey technical issues and bug reports to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred experience

SaaS Product Familiarity: Prior experience testing multi-tenant SaaS platforms, workflow management systems, or data-sensitive business applications.Automation Exposure: Basic knowledge of or exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium) is a significant plus.Startup Agility: Comfortable moving quickly, adapting to changing priorities, and taking full ownership of the QA domain in an early-stage startup environment.
