Job summary

ConnectOS is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to lead test automation efforts across UI and API layers, leverage Postman for API testing, and implement robust quality strategies. You will contribute to shift-left practices, maintain automated tests, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software releases.

You will collaborate across time zones, participate in defining done criteria, and help shape observability-driven quality metrics.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated tests with Playwright or Selenium for UI and Postman for API testing.
• Ability to design and implement test strategies, quality gates, and shift-left practices.
• Practical experience with API testing and database testing (SQL).
• Proficient in debugging, defect analysis, and defect management using JIRA.
• Understanding of quality gates within CI/CD pipelines.
• Awareness of observability concepts to inform quality decisions.
• Responsible use of approved AI tools for test design and automation.
• Strong communication to articulate quality status, risks, and blockers across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive test strategies and quality gates.
