Qualifications

- 1 to 2 years of relevant software development experience or portfolio
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript for web development
- Experience with Generative AI tools for coding, debugging, and documentation
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain software applications using Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Write efficient SQL queries and data integration scripts
- Use Generative AI tools for prompt engineering, code generation, debugging, and automated tests
- Build and update responsive web pages and internal UI components
- Configure AI automation scripts for operational workflows
- Maintain technical documentation and track progress in JIRA

Technical Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 1 to 2 years of relevant software development experience, internship experience, or an equivalent project portfolio
Required Technical Skills
- Python Programming: Proficiency in writing clean, structured Python code for scripting, data handling, and backend logic
- Database & SQL: Proficiency in relational databases, SQL queries, table joins, and basic data extraction and transformation
- Web Development: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Generative AI Tools: Hands-on experience with tools such as ChatGPT and Claude for prompt engineering, code synthesis, documentation summarization, and debugging support
Desired Technical Skills
- Familiarity with .NET, Microsoft Azure, cloud technologies, and Snowflake
- Version Control: Working knowledge of Git for code management and collaboration
- API Concepts: Understanding of RESTful web services and API endpoints
- Industry certifications in Python, SQL, Azure/AWS Fundamentals, or Prompt Engineering
- Logical and methodical approach to software troubleshooting and debugging
- Strong passion for technology, continuous learning, and emerging software and AI trends
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members

Software Development & AI Workflow Integration
- Develop, test, and maintain software applications and scripts using Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Write efficient SQL queries, database scripts, and stored procedures to support business reporting and data integrations
- Use Generative AI tools, including GitHub Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT, for prompt engineering, rapid code generation, debugging, and automated test creation
- Build and update responsive web pages and internal user interface components
- Design and configure local and cloud-based AI automation scripts to streamline operational procedures
- Perform routine code maintenance, refactor legacy code, and assist with technical defect diagnosis under senior supervision
- Recommend standard solutions and software improvements to enhance user experience and delivery value
Technology Strategy Execution Support
- Assist senior software engineers and IT leadership with on-time project milestone delivery
- Follow continuous integration and version control workflows using Git and repository management platforms
- Partner with internal stakeholders to clarify functional requirements and translate them into software specifications
- Participate in technical reviews to ensure automated scripts and API integrations comply with data privacy and cybersecurity guidelines
Records Management & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive technical documentation for developed code, APIs, database schemas, and AI agent workflows
- Record development tasks, progress, and issue resolution details in JIRA and version control tools
- Document software deployment and maintenance procedures for peer reference
Time Management & Professional Growth
- Manage assigned tasks to meet project deadlines and sprint commitments
- Prioritize tasks in coordination with senior engineering leads
- Develop software engineering and AI competencies through self-directed learning and continuous skill improvement
