Job Summary

Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust APIs and middleware solutions that facilitate seamless data exchange across engineering platforms, including E3D, Plant 3D, Tekla Structures, STAAD.Pro, and Autodesk Inventor. The role focuses on automating model creation and synchronization, managing version control, and ensuring integration solutions comply with engineering standards and data formats such as IFC, DWG, and CIS/2. The Software Engineer will also develop custom plugins, scripts, and macros to improve productivity and streamline design and engineering workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and middleware that enable seamless integration between engineering platforms such as E3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Tekla Structures, STAAD.Pro, and Autodesk Inventor.
• Implement automated engineering model synchronization and version control processes to maintain consistency and traceability across disciplines.
• Develop custom plugins, scripts, and macros to extend platform capabilities, automate repetitive processes, and improve user productivity.
• Ensure integration solutions comply with engineering standards, industry data formats such as IFC, DWG, and CIS/2, and project-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand integration requirements, resolve technical issues, and continuously improve interoperability.
• Develop and support reporting tools and dashboards for project monitoring, quality assurance, procurement, and fabrication tracking.
• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives, including QMS automation, desktop monitoring systems, and approval workflows using Microsoft Power Platform.
