Job summary

DTDL group invites a Software Engineer specialized in Java to take a lead role delivering scalable, high-performance applications in the Philippines. You will own delivery from design to deployment, driving initiatives with product teams.

The role focuses on Java, Spring Boot microservices, RESTful APIs, and databases such as PostgreSQL and MySǪL. You will mentor peers, review AI-assisted code, and help shape system architecture while ensuring quality and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2–4 years of Java development experience.
• Proficiency in core Java, JPA, PostgreSQL, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Hands-on exposure to AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf) for Java code generation and verification.
• Strong understanding of Java frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
• Experience with RESTful web services and API gateway.
• Knowledge of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack solutions using Java, Springboot, and databases like Postgres and MySǪL.

You must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science orrelated field.
• 2 to 4 yearsofexperience inJava development.
• Proficiency in coreJava, JPA, PostgreSǪL, SpringBoot, and microservices.
• Hands-on exposure to AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf) for basic Java code generation such as loops and collections, with the ability to manually verify correctness of AIgenerated code.
• Strong understanding ofJava frameworkslike Spring and Hibernate.
