Job summary

Umpisa Inc., a progressive technology services company in the Philippines, is seeking an API integration engineer to drive integration stories, build and test services, and coordinate with client and operations teams.

You will implement RESTful APIs, DataWeave, and deployments leveraging Azure DevOps, participate in backlog planning, and help prepare deployment procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience working as part of a self-organizing Scrum team in a scaled agile framework.
• Experience working directly with client teams, coordinating with operations teams, and collaborating across delivery teams.
• At least 2+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in enterprise integration.
• Experience in consulting services delivery.
• Experience in client-site delivery.
• Eligible to work in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Identify and drive resolution of integration stories and issues, and any associated issues arising from external dependencies.
• Provide technical estimates assigned stories and issues.
• Produce updates to API Technical Specifications in accordance to changes.
• Build, fix, and unit test API/integration services.
• Participate in Backlog Planning, Daily Stand-up, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Work closely with the Operations team in coordinating the resolution of technical issues.
• Prepare and review deployment procedure and documentation.
