Job summary

KMC Solutions in the Philippines is seeking an Software Engineering Manager to lead cross-functional teams across multiple products. You will guide engineers, designers, and DevOps to deliver high-quality software, while iterating on processes and embracing modern tools and AI coding agents to improve efficiency.

In this role you will own planning to release, ensure on-time delivery, and mentor team members through performance reviews and career development.

Qualifications

7+ years of software development experience with 4+ years in a management role.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Experience delivering complex software projects in Agile environments.
Hands-on experience with system design, architecture, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and grow a software engineering team across experience levels.
Own the delivery of software projects from planning to release.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
Manage team capacity, planning, and prioritization in an Agile environment.
Provide guidance on system design, architecture, and best practices.
Review and approve technical designs and key architectural decisions.
Ensure code quality through reviews and engineering standards.
Oversee CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
