Angkas is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in the Philippines to join our fast-moving team. You will drive architectural decisions and deliver scalable backend features using Go, Kafka, Kubernetes, Redis, and PostgreSQL.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor juniors, and contribute to high-availability systems while enjoying flexible onsite, remote, or hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional development experience.
• Proficiency in Go (Golang) and Kafka.
• Understanding of advanced programming design patterns and principles.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes (K8s) for container orchestration.
• Experience with Redis and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with high scalability and high availability systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
