Job summary

MicroSourcing is recruiting for a Client Solutions Consultant - Software and Application Engineering to serve as the subject matter expert in client discovery discussions and to lead implementations, onboarding, documentation, and knowledge transfer. You will oversee collaboration across clients, delivery centers, recruiting, sales and account management to ensure delivery readiness and timely execution.

• Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in software development, SQA/testing, application support, or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience working within a business process outsourcing (BPO) environment.
• Strong functional understanding of Software &\u0026 Application Engineering services, SDLC, Agile, APIs, cloud, and security considerations.
• Proven ability to lead client-facing conversations, work independently, and collaborate across dispersed teams during 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Software and Application Engineering subject matter expert during prospective and existing client discovery discussions.
• Lead implementations, onboarding activities, technical documentation, knowledge transfer, workflow validation, and delivery-readiness for new partnerships.
• Coordinate across clients, delivery centers, recruiting, sales, and account management teams to manage implementation plans, risks, and timelines.
• Partner with recruiting and operational teams to define job roles, craft evaluations, interview candidates, and support delivery team training.
• Provide post-launch advisory support, investigate complex technical issues, and recommend corrective actions to optimize software delivery.

Your Role:

As a Client Solutions Consultant - Software and Application Engineering

• Serve as the Software and Application Engineering subject matter expert during prospective and existing client discovery discussions.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of professional experience in software development, SQA/testing, application support, or a related technical field.

• 3-5 years of experience working within a business process outsourcing (BPO) environment.

• Strong functional understanding of Software & Application Engineering services, SDLC, Agile, APIs, cloud, and security considerations.

• Proven ability to lead client-facing conversations, work independently, and collaborate across dispersed teams during 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

Preferred skills/expertise

• Experience in client implementations, onboarding, technical discovery, solution design, process transitions, or pre-sales conversations.

• Prior experience as a technical lead, senior developer, QA lead, application support lead, or engineering supervisor.

• Proven ability to create technical documentation, such as requirements, user stories, process flows, architecture diagrams, API docs, or test plans.

• Familiarity with modern frameworks, databases, cloud platforms, dev tools, and issue-tracking systems (e.g., JavaScript, Python, SQL, AWS, Jira).

• Relevant certifications in Agile/Scrum, PMP, Cloud, ITIL, software testing, or experience with DevOps and AI-enabled development tools.
