Raw phone footage becomes scroll-stopping Reels and TikToks in the hands of a creative, dependable Social Media Video Editor, who brings our warm, founder-driven brand to life on Instagram and TikTok. You will turn raw clips into engaging short-form videos, write captions, post on a consistent schedule, and connect with our community through comments and DMs. You will also support outreach to local experts and share simple weekly reports. A strong editing portfolio, excellent writing skills, and a natural feel for casual, conversational social media make for the ideal candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Edit short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) from raw phone clips with CapCut or similar tools
• - Write engaging captions and publish posts on Instagram and TikTok on a set schedule
• - Reply to comments and DMs in line with our brand guidelines
• - Contribute content ideas that suit our warm, founder-driven brand voice
• - Research and build lists of potential local experts for collaboration
• - Send first-touch outreach messages from provided templates
• - Prepare simple weekly reports on posts, engagement, and outreach replies

Mandatory Skills:

• - Proven experience editing short-form video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts
• - Proficiency in CapCut or similar video editing tools
• - A portfolio of short-form video work (required)
• - Excellent written English with a natural, casual, conversational tone for a U.S. audience
• - Experience writing captions and managing Instagram and TikTok accounts
• - Experience replying to comments and DMs in a brand's voice
• - Resolute, accurate, and productive when left to manage your own day
• - Strong communication skills
