Job summary

Job description

Role Description We're looking for someone who can build and sustain Open iT's social presence with intention: consistent publishing, active community engagement, and content that connects to real business goals. This role owns our social channels and works across marketing, sales, and technical teams to drive meaningful engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Social media engagement:Own the social media calendar across platforms (LinkedIn primary). Plan, schedule, and publish content consistently. Monitor performance and adjust based on social metrics and engagement data (no set-and-forget positing)
• Community engagement: Actively participate in relevant online communities (LinkedIn groups, Reddit, and industry forums). Respond to comments and DMs within 24 business hours. Facilitate cross-funnel content and coordinate with the internal team to maintain a steady cadence of team-sourced posts.
• Cross- team content coordination: Work with the Content team to repurpose long-form content into social-ready formats. Coordinate with external teams to surface insights and stories that raise engagement and credibility.

Required Qualifications:

• Social media experience, portfolio, and platform fluency. Show us a channel, page, or campaign you've built and grown. LinkedIn and Facebook are non-negotiable; familiarity with scheduling tools is a plus.
• Social analytics proficiency. Adept at pulling and interpreting data from LinkedIn Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar. Performance reporting is part of the job, not an afterthought.
• Experience with AI tools(Claude preferred) or a demonstrated willingness to learn and optimize AI-assisted workflows.
• Writing skills (English) . Voice and tone matter in all posts, captions, and community replies.
• Organized, proactive, and collaborative . U ses time-blocking or other time management techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with B2B social media or tech brands
• Bachelor's degree in: Marketing, Communications, or any related field.

Growth Path

• Within 6 months, this role expands into paid social support and deeper MQL attribution work. Strong performers grow toward Social Media Lead, owning the full social and community SP with direct pipeline accountability.
