Job summary

Outsource Access, Inc. is seeking an experienced SOC/NOC security operations specialist to triage alerts, own incident response, and manage patching across endpoints and network devices. You will develop automated rules, reduce noise, and ensure rapid resolution times while partnering with CISO and Compliance leadership.

You will navigate ConnectWise, EDR/SIEM tools, and cloud ecosystems, owning ticket queues and maintaining thorough documentation in a fast-paced MSP/MSSP environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a SOC/NOC or MSP/MSSP environment with execution focus.
• Practical incident response knowledge and firewall/network handling.
• Ability to manage ticket queues and response times efficiently.
• Comfort with fast-paced settings demanding speed, accuracy and thorough docs.
• Strong root-cause analysis to eliminate recurring issues.
• Familiarity with ConnectWise, EDR/SIEM tools and cloud ecosystems.

About the role

You will actively triage and own SOC/NOC boards, diving into SIEM, EDR, and network alerts to catch and contain security incidents. You will take full command of patch and firmware management using ConnectWise and network consoles, ensuring every server, workstation, firewall, and switch is updated on schedule. You will build, tune, and expand automated alerting rules across cloud and RMM environments so detection fidelity stays high, noise stays low, and resolution SLAs are consistently met. Partnering directly with CISO and Compliance leadership, you will audit client environments against industry frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, NIST) to deliver security documentation.

• 3+ years of execution-first experience in a SOC, NOC, or multi-tenant MSP/MSSP environment
• Practical knowledge of incident response, firewalls, and network lifecycle management
• Take personal ownership of ticket queues and response times
• Thrive in fast-paced environments where speed, accuracy, and detailed documentation matter
• Love digging into root causes, analyzing logs, and eliminating repeat issues through continuous process improvement
• Navigate ConnectWise, EDR/SIEM tools, cloud ecosystems (M365/Azure, Google Workspace), and network management consoles with ease
• Have a dedicated, distraction-free home setup with reliable high-speed internet connection
• Ready to tackle scheduled tasks and step up during on-call rotation windows
