Job summary

Continental is seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant for its Security Operations Center. You will handle security events using CrowdStrike MDR and Microsoft XDR, investigate tampering alerts, and contribute to threat intelligence and hunting activities.

You will also maintain SOC playbooks and coordinate 3rd party teams for EDR/SIEM detection and response. The role requires knowledge of client/server/cloud architectures, English proficiency, and IT service concepts; experience in security

Qualifications

• Degree or certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., GCIH, GCFE) or comparable experience
• Up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity tools and structures
• Desirable: automation/scripting skills and cloud familiarity
• Understanding of client/server and cloud architectures

Responsibilities

• Operate SoC using security tools and playbooks (CrowdStrike MDR, Microsoft XDR)
• Investigate endpoint/sensor tampering alerts and coordinate repairs
• Engage in Threat Intelligence and Threat Hunting activities
• Support compliance investigations
• Develop and maintain SOC playbooks
• Oversee third-party teams to ensure detection and response (EDR, SIEM)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to raise cybersecurity maturity
