Job summary

The Apex Group is seeking a Data Engineer to lead the Snowflake data warehouse and ESG analytics initiatives from our Makati office. You will work with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to design and maintain pipelines between Oracle, Snowflake, and client data warehouses.

You will contribute to data modeling, security, and automation efforts while growing your expertise in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

At least 4 years of data engineering experience in a SaaS, consultancy or data-intensive environment.
Experience with Data Warehousing and Data Modeling.
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (administration, schema/view design, performance optimization and security).

Responsibilities

Manage, develop and optimise the Holtara Snowflake data warehouse, including schemas, views, tables and environments.
Build and maintain data pipelines and integrations between Oracle, Snowflake, and client warehouses.
Design client-specific data tables/views in Snowflake with Row Level Security (RLS).
Determine appropriate data engineering tools and design patterns to meet business requirements.
Prepare and expose data for downstream consumption including exports and APIs.
Identify improvements to move from weekly to same-day data delivery through more efficient pipelines.
Document and maintain the modern data platform and ensure data-access security.
Provide guidance to downstream data consumers (analysts, product, data services).
Comply with data security and access-control standards.
