We are seeking a detail-driven, experienced Intermediate SMSF Accountant to manage self-managed superannuation fund portfolios, administer pension accounts, and support junior team members. You will independently handle small SMSF portfolios, prepare comprehensive financial statements with notes and disclosures, and apply extensive technical knowledge to complex fund structures.

Your Impact

• SMSF Portfolio Management: Independently manage and oversee small SMSF portfolios, ensuring accurate administration and timely processing.
• Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare complete SMSF financial statements, including required notes and disclosures, in accordance with Australian regulatory standards.
• Pension Administration: Accurately administer simple pension accounts and support pension phase compliance.
• Review & Team Support: Review the work of junior staff, assist with training and guidance, and collaborate closely with SMSF Senior Accountants and Supervisors.

What You Bring

• The Experience: 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience specializing in Australian SMSF accounting work.
• Technical Mastery: Extensive technical knowledge of Self-Managed Superannuation Funds, high attention to detail for handling complex fund portfolios, and strong analytical capabilities.
• Core Competencies: Proven ability to effectively review work and train junior staff, excellent organizational skills, and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
