STERRY is a fast-paced growth marketing agency helping brands scale revenue through email and CRM strategies. We are seeking an SMS/Email Marketing Manager who lives and breathes email marketing and can turn customer journeys into lifelong advocates.

You will own retention strategies, automate flows, segment audiences, and analyze performance data to drive repeat purchases for international brands. This role offers full remote flexibility and a collaborative, results-driven team environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in email marketing, CRM, retention marketing, or lifecycle marketing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute email retention strategies to increase engagement and lifetime value.
• Build and optimize automated email flows including welcome series, onboarding, nurture, abandoned cart, win-back and re-engagement journeys.
• Segment audiences and personalize messaging based on customer behavior and lifecycle stage.
• Monitor campaign performance and analyze key metrics such as open rates, CTR, conversions, retention and churn.
• Conduct A/B testing to improve email content, subject lines, timing and customer journeys.
• Collaborate with creative, content, design and account management teams to deliver impactful campaigns for multiple clients.
• Stay ahead of email marketing trends, deliverability best practices, and CRM innovations.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications,or related field is a plus— but what truly matters is what you can build. A standout portfolio or equivalent hands‑on experience is just as valued
• 3+ years of experience in email marketing, CRM, retention marketing, or lifecycle marketing
• Proven experience managing and optimizing automated email campaigns
• Hands‑on experience with email marketing and CRM platforms such as Klaviyo, HubSpot, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of customer segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle marketing strategies
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign data and translate insights into action
• Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving agency environment
• Experience working with e-commerce, SaaS, or digital-first brands is a plus
