Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years proven experience in fabrication estimating for structural, platework, or mechanical assemblies.
• Familiarity with 3D CAD models is a plus.
• Experience in ISO-certified or compliance-focused environments.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Populate Bill of Materials and process times in Excel worksheets.
• Prepare material and service takeoffs and send to suppliers.

Skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Strong ability to interpret 2D engineering drawings

Effective English communication skills

Knowledge of fabrication shop processes

Experience preparing takeoffs

High attention to detail

Education
