You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors, source current market prices, maintain cost databases, and monitor variations to prevent overruns.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Estimator in construction or steel fabrication.
• Experience reading technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
• Proficient in cost estimation and Excel calculations.
• Knowledge of Philippine building standards is desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Analyse project drawings, specifications, and technical documents to determine material and labour requirements.
• Calculate detailed cost estimates for construction and steel manufacturing projects.
• Prepare and present quotations and bids to clients.
• Research and source current market prices for steel and materials.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to gather project information.
• Maintain estimating databases and historical cost records.
• Monitor and track variations to estimates and identify cost overruns.
