Job summary

Insight seeks an experienced Senior Consultant with a strong FinOps background to join our team. You will help clients optimise cloud investment, drive financial accountability, and implement best practices for multi-cloud cost management.

The role involves leading FinOps engagements, collaborating with Engineering, Finance, and Procurement, and delivering training on FinOps concepts and tools. A flexible, hybrid work model across Delhi NCR and related hubs is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience in consulting or cloud financial management roles.
• Proven experience in FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, or Cloud Financial Analyst roles.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on cloud cost optimisation strategies, financial governance, and budgeting processes.
• Lead FinOps engagements, including assessment, implementation, and ongoing management of cloud financial operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver tailored FinOps solutions.
• Develop and deliver training and workshops on FinOps principles and tools.
• Analyse cloud spend data, identify trends, and present actionable insights to stakeholders.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant with a strong background in FinOps (Cloud Financial Management) to join our team. What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience in consulting or cloud financial management roles
• Proven experience in a FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, or Cloud Financial Analyst role.
• Strong understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their pricing models.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate technical and financial data into clear recommendations.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., FinOps Certified Practitioner).
• Knowledge of leading FinOps tools (e.g, IBM Cloudability, Flexera CCO) is a plus.
