Job summary

The Medical City in the Philippines is seeking a detail-oriented 2D Echo Technologist to perform non-invasive cardiac ultrasound procedures and produce diagnostic images while ensuring excellent patient care.

The successful candidate will document examinations accurately, position patients properly, and support the clinical team with timely, high-quality results in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any allied health program.
• Preferably with at least 6 months of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of 2D echocardiography procedures and cardiac imaging.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Explain 2D echocardiography procedures clearly to patients
• Obtain and record patient identification and medical history
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for 2D echo procedures
• Apply medical gel and electrodes and assist with equipment setup
• Provide ambulatory assistance and ensure patient comfort and safety
• Perform 2D echocardiography and produce high-quality cardiac images
• Accurately position transducers and monitor imaging displays
• Record examinations accurately and completely
• Produce official results of tests conducted
• Maintain accurate patient and examination records
• Ensure proper documentation of procedures and results
