Qualifications

• Graduate of any allied health program.
• Preferably with at least 6 months of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of 2D echocardiography procedures and cardiac imaging.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication.
• Detail-oriented with strong technical and organizational skills.
• Patient-focused and able to work effectively in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Explain 2D echocardiography procedures clearly to patients.
• Obtain and record patient identification and medical history.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for 2D echo procedures.
• Apply medical gel and electrodes and assist with equipment setup.
• Provide ambulatory assistance and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Perform 2D echocardiography and produce high-quality cardiac images.
• Accurately position transducers and monitor imaging displays.
• Measure heart wall thickness and chamber sizes according to standard norms.
• Record examinations accurately and completely.
• Produce official results of tests conducted.
• Maintain accurate patient and examination records.
• Ensure proper documentation of procedures and results.
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
