Qualifications

• Plan and estimate daily assembly activities (equipment and labor).
• Support Project Engineering in developing the full-scale mechanical project plan.
• Own on-site documentation: progress reports, HSE reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with GEA and client HSEQ standards.
• Provide mechanical support during installation and commissioning.

As a Site Supervisor, you will lead the commissioning of industrial plants for food & beverage projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and world-class safety standards are met. A key role for senior professionals seeking international exposure and high-level technical challenges.

What You'll Do

• Lead the coordination of mechanical assembly on large-scale projects (piping, skids, vessels) according to flow diagrams and process conditions.
• Serve as the main point of contact with the client during mechanical supervision and assembly phases.
• Manage mechanical contractors, controlling planned hours and construction progress.
• Plan and estimate daily assembly activities (equipment and labor).
• Support Project Engineering in developing the full-scale mechanical project plan.
• Own on-site documentation: progress reports, HSE reports, budget, and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with GEA and client HSEQ standards.
• Provide mechanical support during installation and, where applicable, commissioning.

What We're Looking For

Experience:

• 5+ years in electromechanical assembly projects, site control, and reporting.
• 3+ years performing the role of site manager/supervisor.
• Proven experience in the food, beverage, dairy, or chemical industry (ideally across at least 2 of these areas).

Education:

• Degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial, or Design Engineering.
• Nice to have: training in project management.

Technical Knowledge:

• Proficiency with 2D and 3D design software.
• Hygienic design know-how.
• Weld quality procedures, ideally in stainless steel.
• Basic understanding of electrical risks.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Word, and Excel; AutoCAD is a plus.

Languages:

• Full working proficiency in Spanish, good working knowledge of English.

Availability:

• Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time (on-site project work throughout the year).
