Job summary

Amazon Operations is seeking a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager to serve as the site lead for engineering matters, ensuring safety compliance and high equipment availability. You will lead a team, mentor technicians, and collaborate with global engineering for growth and improvements.

Responsibilities include implementing compliance programs, coordinating recruitment, and driving Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives across the site to uphold top safety standards and service

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in industrial electrical or mechanical systems.
5+ years of project management experience.
Fluent in English (all modes) and able to take directions in English.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
+5 years experience with automated equipment including packaging machinery, sortation and conveyor systems.

Responsibilities

Lead the team and own annual reporting responsibilities for the team.
Work with site safety, environmental, sustainability and site leadership to implement and audit compliance programs.
Coordinate recruitment to ensure headcount is filled with high-quality staff; support apprentices and graduates.
Implement Global Engineering standards and drive continuous improvement to enhance safety and equipment availability.
Maintain equipment contingency plans and coordinate rapid response to failures or breakdowns.
Plan for future growth and upgrades in collaboration with site management, finance, and internal design teams.
