Job summary

Remark Steel in the Philippines is seeking a seasoned Site Manager to oversee daily construction activities at project sites. You will supervise structural steel erection, coordinate with subcontractors and clients, and ensure work aligns with approved plans, specifications, and schedules.

You will lead site engineers, foremen, erectors, welders, riggers, crane operators, and other crew; monitor progress, resources, and safety; review drawings; and drive quality control for timely completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of site management experience.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel erection and steel construction.
• Experience leading site teams and coordinating with subcontractors.
• Ability to read structural drawings and erection plans.

• Prepare and submit regular progress reports, manpower reports, and other required site documentation.
• Ensure project milestones and completion targets are achieved efficiently and within the approved schedule.

Key Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in construction site management.
• Strong experience in structural steel erection and steel construction is highly preferred.
• Experience managing steel erectors, welders, riggers, crane operators, and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of structural steel erection methods, rigging, lifting operations, bolting, welding, and alignment.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, and erection plans.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of construction safety and quality control practices.
• Willing to work and be assigned to various project sites.
• Must be able to work under pressure and effectively manage multiple site activities.
