Job summary

ICON Strategic Solutions (FSP) in Manila is seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to support clinical research operations. You will assist in site payments, invoicing, budget tracking, and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

The role requires a finance background, strong Excel skills, and the ability to collaborate with clinical operations, site teams, and finance. A hybrid work setup (2-3x a week in Makati) is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Business Administration.
• Experience in finance, invoicing, payments, or budget tracking.
• Basic understanding of local taxation and general accounting principles.
• Knowledge of clinical trial processes and site payments is a plus.
• Strong organizational and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Willingness to work in hybrid setup (2-3x a week in Makati).

What You Will Do:

Your role will involve delivering clinical research work to a high standard, working closely with your team and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the monitoring of clinical trial sites, ensuring adherence to study protocols, regulatory requirements, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
• Supporting site management activities, including documentation preparation, data entry, and tracking site performance metrics.
• Providing support for clinical trial financial activities, including tracking site payments, reviewing invoices and payment documentation, monitoring study-related expenses, and assisting with budget and payment reconciliations.
• Coordinating with clinical operations, finance, and site teams to help resolve payment queries and ensure timely processing of site-related financial activities.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and address site-related operational issues effectively.
• Maintaining accurate records of site activities, financial documentation, and contributing to the preparation of monitoring reports.
• Participating in training and development initiatives to enhance knowledge and skills in clinical trial management.

Your Profile:

You will bring relevant clinical research experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or another finance-related discipline.
• Some experience in finance, accounting, invoicing, payment processing, budget tracking, reconciliation, or other related financial/administrative functions.
• Experience in clinical research, clinical trial site management, or a related healthcare environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic understanding of local taxation requirements and general financial/accounting principles, particularly as they relate to invoices, payments, and business transactions.
• Basic knowledge of clinical trial processes, site payments, and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and numerical skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and financial records accurately.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other tools used for financial tracking, reporting, and data management is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Clinical Operations, Finance, study sites, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Willingness to work in hybrid setup (2-3x a week RTO at Makati City)
