Job summary

GLIFS Construction is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee daily site activities for the Manila Project. The role requires civil engineering expertise, strong leadership, and on-site coordination with workers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Responsibilities include enforcing safety policies, ensuring plans and schedules are met, and preparing progress and safety reports. On-site work in Cavite/Manila area with a focus on rapid, safe construction execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience in construction/site supervision preferred.
• SO2 or higher safety officer training/certification preferred.
• Knowledge of construction methods, site operations, and safety standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and other relevant engineering software.
• Willing to work on-site (Manila Project).
• Resident of Cavite or nearby areas.
• Willing to work under pressure in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities and construction progress
• Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and schedules
• Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate with workers, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Implement and monitor workplace health and safety policies
• Identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate corrective actions
• Conduct safety orientations/toolbox meetings as required
• Maintain site safety records, reports, and documentation
• Monitor compliance with applicable construction and occupational safety requirements
• Prepare daily/weekly progress and safety reports
• Coordinate with the project team to resolve site issues
