Job summary

Maersk is hiring a Spanish Customer Experience Team Leader to drive performance across landside operations in a global logistics environment. You will lead a diverse team, coach staff, and ensure efficient, cost-effective service from dock to delivery, while maintaining strong collaboration with regional partners.

The role requires 8+ years in operations/logistics, fluent Spanish and English, and experience with Power BI and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years in operations/logistics or freight forwarding.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience leading a team of individual contributors or team leads.
• Experience with transformation/offshoring programs.
• Experience with Power BI, automation tools, or reporting platforms.
• Lean/Six Sigma or process improvement certifications (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Landside team to achieve excellence.
• Drive end-to-end Landside performance, service delivery, and process compliance.
• Own team KPIs, governance, and data-driven decisions to boost quality and profitability.
• Partner with regional teams, customers, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Promote continuous improvement and transformation through standardization and automation.

Spanish Customer Experience Team Leader

Lead a team of Landside Specialists and Senior Specialists to deliver efficient, reliable, and cost-effective execution across the transport lifecycle. Drive team performance, ensure operational excellence, and support continuous improvement and transformation initiatives while developing team capability and ensuring high engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team to deliver operational excellence, business outcomes, and continuous capability growth.
• Drive end-to-end Landside operational performance, ensuring service delivery, process compliance, strong controls, and effective issue resolution.
• Own team performance through KPI management, governance, reporting, and data-driven decision-making to improve quality, productivity, and profitability.
• Build strong partnerships with regional teams, customers, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive collaboration, service excellence, and business results.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and transformation through standardization, automation, system adoption, and process optimization.
• Foster an engaging and inclusive work environment aligned with Maersk values, promoting accountability, ownership, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Graduate
• At least 8 years of experience in operations, shipping container and logistics or Freight forwarder industry. Knowledge on landside business would be a added advantage.
• Should be able to speak and write Spanish and English languages.
• Should have prior experience leading a team of Individual contributors or Team leaders
• Exposure to transformation/offshoring programs
• Experience with Power BI, automation tools, or reporting platforms
• Lean / Six Sigma or process improvement certifications (Preferred)
