Responsibilities

• Perform independent control over receipt, movement, counting and release of inventories.
• Verify actual quantities against documents and report discrepancies.
• Prevent unauthorized movements and promptly report exceptions to management.
• Conduct product release and dispatch verification.
• Lead physical inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
• Control inventory movement and ensure documentation integrity.
• Investigate variances and contribute to control improvements.
• Exercise authority to request documents needed for checking function.

Job Description

To provide an independent control and verification function over the receipt, movement, counting and release of raw materials, packaging materials, finished products and other inventories at the plant. The position verifies actual quantities and transaction documents, identifies discrepancies or irregularities, prevents unsupported or unauthorized movements, and promptly reports exceptions to management.
