Job summary

Heidi Chef Solutions LLC in Quezon City, Philippines, is seeking an engineer to develop, modify, test, and maintain industrial automation software using Siemens technologies. This role focuses on software development and remote engineering support with TIA Portal V21, S7 PLCs, and WinCC/HMI platforms; electrical design and site work are not required.

You will develop PLC applications, configure WinCC HMI/SCADA, review design specs, and perform testing and debugging.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer or Instrumentation Engineering is required.
Minimum 3 years' experience developing Siemens PLC and SCADA software.
Experience with STEP 7 Professional and Siemens S7-1200/1500 PLCs is mandatory.
Experience with WinCC Professional and WinCC Unified is required.
Strong ladder logic, FBD, SCL programming skills and protocol knowledge (Profinet, Modbus TCP, OPC UA).
Experience supporting FAT and remote commissioning, reading electrical drawings, schematics and I/O schedules.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop PLC software using Siemens TIA Portal and WinCC for PLC and HMI/SCADA systems.
Configure and maintain Siemens S7-1200/1500 PLCs and supporting software.
Review FDS, SOO, and I/O schedules before development.
Perform offline testing using PLCSIM and support FAT remotely.
Collaborate with project managers, controls engineers and commissioning teams.
Read electrical schematics, control panel drawings, wiring diagrams and P&IDs.
