Job summary

Concentrix in the Philippines seeks a responsible shuttle driver to perform daily vehicle inspections, operate buses safely, manage passengers, and ensure compliant shuttle operations. You will use the company shuttle app, monitor bookings, and report incidents or delays while maintaining a safe travel environment.

The role requires strict adherence to routes, schedules, and PUDO points, with attention to passenger safety and timely service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-trip inspection of the assigned bus.
• Check battery condition, terminals, and connections.
• Inspect headlights, interior and exterior lights, and report defective units.
• Check engine oil, coolant, brake system, air-conditioning system, and overall vehicle condition.
• Verify tire pressure and inspect tires for wear and damage, including spare tires.
• Ensure sufficient fuel for the assigned trip and record fuel levels.
• Maintain a clean dashboard and vehicle interior.
• Record odometer readings before departure.
• Conduct exterior inspection and report damages, dents, or scratches with proper documentation.
• Ensure readiness and roadworthiness of the vehicle before commencing operations.
• Safely operate the assigned bus following all traffic laws and regulations.
• Follow approved shuttle routes, schedules, and designated Pick-Up and Drop-Off points.
• Ensure punctual arrival and departure at all assigned stops.
• Avoid unauthorized route deviations and unauthorized passenger pick-up or drop-off.
• Exercise defensive driving techniques and maintain passenger safety at all times.
• Remain attentive and focused while driving.
• Ensure that only authorized Concentrix personnel board the vehicle.
• Verify employee identification before boarding when required.
• Assist passengers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and comfortable travel environment for all passengers.
• Report incidents, passenger concerns, or emergencies to the appropriate supervisor immediately.
• Operate and utilize the Concentrix Shuttle Application as required.
• Monitor trip bookings and passenger reservations.
• Update arrival and departure status accurately within the application.
• Scan passenger QR codes and validate employee credentials when necessary.
• Provide timely updates regarding traffic conditions, route delays, and operational concerns.
• Respond promptly to calls and messages related to transport operations.
• Submit required reports and updates to the Transport Coordinator or Dispatcher.
• Conduct end-of-route vehicle inspection.
• Record fuel level and odometer readings after every trip.
• Check the vehicle for damages or maintenance concerns.
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and remove any trash left inside the bus.
• Secure and report lost-and-found items to the designated Concentrix representative.
• Complete and submit all required checklists and trip reports.
• Properly endorse operational equipment and communication devices to the next responsible personnel.
• Comply with all company policies, transportation regulations, and client requirements.
• Observe occupational health and safety standards.
• Maintain confidentiality of client and passenger information.
• Immediately report accidents, incidents, traffic violations, vehicle breakdowns, and safety concerns.
• Participate in safety meetings, trainings, and operational briefings as required.
