Job summary

Outsourcey is seeking a skilled video editor to join our Philippines-based team. You will edit high-impact social media videos using raw footage, product demos, and influencer content, crafting captions, overlays, and engaging hooks per brand guidelines.

You will repurpose content for multiple platforms and manage assets to ensure fast, reliable delivery. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of professional video editing, strong English communication, and the ability to juggle multiple projects with

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in professional video editing for social media or e-commerce brands.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro or similar editing software.
• Experience with Adobe After Effects or motion graphics is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of high-converting short-form video content and current trends across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube Shorts.
• Experience using Later.com or similar scheduling platforms is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and file management skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple editing projects while consistently meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Edit high-performing short-form videos (Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Reels and YouTube Shorts) using supplied raw footage, product demonstrations and influencer content.
• Create engaging on-screen captions, subtitles, text overlays and visual hooks in line with brand guidelines.
• Produce polished edits incorporating transitions, motion graphics, sound effects and basic animations to maximise engagement.
• Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form assets for different social platforms.
• Write concise, direct-response social captions for completed content.
• Upload and schedule completed content as Drafts in Later.com for final client review and approval.
• Organise and maintain video assets, project files, templates and content libraries to ensure efficient production workflows.
• Ensure all content is delivered accurately, consistently and within agreed turnaround times.
