Job summary

Starbond is hiring a full-time Shopify Developer to own the development, maintenance, and improvement of our Shopify storefront. You will translate Figma designs into responsive pages, customize themes, and fix issues across devices and browsers.

We require substantial hands-on Shopify experience (4+ years preferred) with Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus a portfolio of Shopify work. This is a long-term independent contractor role with a 40-hour workweek and Pacific Time alignment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Shopify development experience, including building and maintaining live stores.
• Proficient with Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience customizing and maintaining Shopify themes and apps.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve Starbond’s Shopify storefront.
• Customize themes, sections, templates, landing pages, and product pages.
• Translate Figma designs into responsive Shopify pages and ensure cross-device compatibility.
• Test changes before release and maintain version control and rollback paths.
• Improve site speed, usability, and technical performance.
