Job summary

Filta is seeking an experienced Shopify developer to lead the ongoing technical development, performance, and scaling of a high-volume Shopify Plus store. You will work under the Head of Digital & eCommerce, collaborating to deliver robust storefronts and integrations.

The role requires 5+ years in web development with Shopify Plus, strong JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and API integration expertise, plus a proven Git and CI/CD background.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of web development experience with Shopify Plus and Liquid themes.
• Strong skills in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and modern front-end workflows.
• Experience integrating Shopify GraphQL/REST APIs and webhooks.
• Experience managing complex product structures, variants and bulk imports.
• Proven Git version control and deployment pipeline knowledge.
• Ability to diagnose issues and debug complex technical problems independently.

Responsibilities

• Build, customize and optimize high-converting Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS and ES6+.
• Develop custom API integrations connecting Shopify Plus with ERP, POS, CRM, inventory and fulfillment platforms.
• Improve site speed, Core Web Vitals and technical SEO for Storefront stability.
• Manage large product launches, multivariate catalog setups and bulk catalog operations.
• Implement features using Shopify Checkout Extensibility, Shopify Functions and Flow.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, deployments and automated testing.
