Ask & Embla is seeking a Shopify Developer to manage and automate our Shopify platform. You will build apps, implement Flow-based workflows, and develop AI-powered automation to streamline e-commerce operations.

Qualifications

Proven Shopify development experience with a strong portfolio.
Hands-on with Liquid templating and theme development best practices.
Experience building and managing automated workflows with Shopify Flow.

Responsibilities

Build and integrate Shopify apps (public and private) to extend store functionality.
Design and implement automated workflows using Shopify Flow for orders, inventory, and marketing.
Create AI-powered automation to reduce manual work in e-commerce ops.
Stay current on AI trends in e-commerce and recommend actionable approaches.
Develop responsive, mobile-first designs for optimal viewing on all devices.
Collaborate with teams to translate requirements into features and workflows.
Optimize site performance for speed, scalability, and SEO.
Troubleshoot issues and fix bugs in a timely manner.
Maintain integrations between Shopify and third-party platforms to minimize manual touchpoints.
Document automation workflows and development processes clearly.
