Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee unloading and loading operations for flatbeds, dry vans, and containers at the plant or yard. You will follow safety rules for crane and forklift handling, report to the Logistics supervisor, and participate in shift rotations while maintaining yard inventory.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of shipping experience and SAP knowledge; teamwork and problem-solving are valued in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in shipping or similar.
• SAP knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise unloading and loading of flatbeds, dry vans, and containers on production lines.
• Follow safety rules for crane and forklift handling and report to the Logistics supervisor area.
• Participate in shift rotation and maintain inventory records in the yard.

What you will do:

Supervise the unloading and loading of flatbeds, dry vans and containers in plant or yard and follow emergency instructions for moving and unloading finished goods on production lines as well as maintaining inventory records in the outside yard to optimize yard space.
