Aroya Cruises is seeking a Nurse to support on-board medical operations and assist the ship's Doctors in medical matters. The role includes patient admission, handling consent documents, and maintaining medical records and stock control.

The Nurse will participate in all ship-related medical duties, safety drills, and daily clinical tasks to ensure high-quality healthcare for passengers and crew.

Responsibilities

• Assist the ship's Doctors in medical matters and provide departmental support.
• Admit passengers and crew members for medical care.
• Handle GTCs and consent forms prior to consultation and treatment.
• Scan diagnostic findings, GTCs and declarations for records.
• Assist during medical examinations and treatments (e.g., lab tests, bandages, X-ray, ECG).
• Manage telephone and email communications related to medical issues.
• Support in emergencies and for patients with acute illnesses.
• Manage the pharmacy inventory and apply first-in, first-out principles.
