Job summary

Pilmico Foods Corporation seeks a Mechanical Engineer for our Iligan flour mill. You will perform real-time mechanical troubleshooting, calibrations, and condition-based monitoring while upholding strict food safety standards.

Responsibilities include leading emergency repairs, vibration/thermal inspections, and overseeing unloading operations. Requires a BS Mechanical Engineering and an active LME, with 1+ year in a similar role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) is required.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer (LME) status is required.
• Minimum 1 year in industrial mechanical maintenance or related plant operations.
• Proficient in interpreting mechanical/electrical schematics and troubleshooting electro-pneumatic systems.
• Experience with vibration analysis, thermal imaging, and instrument calibration.
• Strong communication and basic computer literacy for shift reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead immediate emergency repairs during shift disruptions to minimize downtime.
• Perform equipment calibrations and root-cause analyses for chronic faults.
• Conduct routine vibration monitoring and thermal imaging; analyze data to catch abnormalities.
• Oversee mechanical performance during raw material unloading and ensure peak feed rates.
• Design cost-effective improvement projects and coordinate with planners for spare parts.
• Maintain engineering records and adhere to 5S, GMP, HACCP, Halal, and ISO standards.
