Job summary

Pilmico Foods Corporation seeks a Mechanical Engineer for our Iligan flour mill. You will drive equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency during shifts, perform real-time troubleshooting, calibrations, and manage raw material unloading while upholding strict food safety standards.

Qualifications include a BS Mechanical Engineering, LME licensure, and at least 1 year in industrial maintenance. You will read schematics, analyze data, and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Licensed Mechanical Engineer (LME) required/active.
Minimum 1 year in industrial mechanical maintenance or processing plant operations.
Able to read mechanical/electrical schematics and troubleshoot electro-pneumatic systems.
Experience with vibration analysis and thermal imaging.
Good communication and basic computer literacy for shift reporting.
Willing to work shifts in a flour mill environment with PPE.

Responsibilities

Lead immediate emergency repairs during shift disruptions to minimize downtime.
Perform equipment calibrations and root cause analysis for faults.
Conduct routine vibration monitoring and thermal imaging.
Analyze performance data to preempt potential abnormalities.
Oversee unloading and ensure peak feed rates within time limits.
Design cost-effective improvement projects and coordinate with planners for spare parts.
Maintain 5S, GMP, HACCP, Halal, ISO compliance documentation.
