Job summary

Aboitiz Foods in Iligan is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure maximum equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency during shift operations at the flour mill. You will perform real-time mechanical troubleshooting, calibrations, and material unloading while upholding strict quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, an active LME license, and at least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
Licensed/Licensed Mechanical Engineer (LME).
Minimum of 1 year in industrial mechanical maintenance, manufacturing, or processing plant operations.
Interpret mechanical/electrical schematics and troubleshoot electro-pneumatic systems.
Experience with vibration analysis, thermal imaging, and instrument calibration.

Responsibilities

Lead immediate emergency repairs during shift disruptions to eliminate production downtime.
Perform equipment calibrations and root-cause analyses for chronic mechanical faults.
Conduct routine vibration monitoring and thermal imaging; analyze data to catch abnormalities.
Oversee mechanical performance during raw material unloading and ensure peak feed rates.
Design cost-effective improvement projects and coordinate with planners for spare parts.
Maintain engineering records and adhere to 5S, GMP, HACCP, Halal, and ISO food safety policies.
