Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform predictive maintenance checklist and daily monitoring.
• Execute WO/JO and update PMS/e-system applications.
• Prepare and check materials for Job Orders.
• Create requests in Spare Parts Inventory Management System.
• Diagnose equipment failures to identify repairs and parts needed.
• Carry out JO tasks, welding and fabrication.
• Ensure equipment availability.
• Maintain tool inventory and report missing tools.
• Keep work area clean and follow GHP and safety regulations.
• Adhere to food safety and quality policies and values.

Job description

About the role

The Shift Mechanic is responsible for executing job orders and work orders, performing predictive and preventive maintenance, updating and submitting reports in the E-System, and ensuring equipment availability. They prepare and check materials for job orders, perform welding and fabrication, and maintain an inventory of mechanical tools.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Predictive Maintenance Checklist daily monitoring checklist

• Execute assigned work order (WO) and Job Order (JO) including update/submission to e-system applications (e.g. Preventive Maintenance System or PMS)

• Prepare and check materials for Job Order

• Create requests at Spare Parts Inventory Management System

• Diagnose problems and/or failures in all related plant equipment for identifying repairs and parts need for replacement

• Perform Job Order and other related works, such as welding and fabrication

• Ensure equipment availability

• Keep inventory of all mechanical tools and report to immediate supervisor any lacking or missing tool

• Maintain the work area and tools in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) and safety regulations

• Adhere to organization's food safety and quality policy, mission, vision and core values
