Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking an SHES Supervisor for Currimao, Ilocos Norte to lead on-site Occupational Safety and Health goals, ensure compliance with HS rules and OSH requirements, and collaborate with the EPC contractor. The role supports security and engages with the Project Development and Execution team to deliver results and positive community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in BS Engineering or BS Nursing, or any related course.
• At least five years of experience in a related field, with at least two years of project related experience.
• With Leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages the occupational health and safety units through constant monitoring, checking and validation of activities done by the ARI PE project team and the EPC contractor/s.
• Regularly reviews OSH standards and communicates with OSH regulators and the Legal department to avoid Notice of Violation.
• Ensures renewal of OSH permits and licenses by the contractor and Stakeholder Relation Compliance team and constantly monitors to avoid fines and penalties.
• Checks and monitors the effectiveness of OSH management programs through inspection, audit and validation if properly implemented.
• Maintains constant updating of OSH activities to Management through regular reporting to ensure that OSH activities are communicated.
• Coordinates with other functional teams through written and verbal communications to address OSH non-compliance issues.
