Job summary

Artemisplus Express Inc./Kitchen City in Cavite City, Philippines, is hiring for an on-site Cashier/Waiter role. No prior experience required; high school diploma or equivalent is acceptable.

You will take and record orders, handle cash and other payments, prepare beverages, and keep the counter area clean and organized. We seek a customer-focused, reliable team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; further training is a plus.
• Experience in food service or cashiering is an advantage but not required.
• Basic cash handling, customer service, and food safety knowledge.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Honest, trustworthy, courteous, and customer-oriented.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide prompt service.
• Take and record customer orders, including special requests.
• Prepare, assemble, and serve food items and beverages.
• Operate the POS system to process customer orders and payments.
• Receive cash, credit/debit card, e-wallet, and other payments, and provide change and receipts.
• Ensure all sales transactions are recorded and cash is handled securely.
• Maintain an organized cashier station and keep the counter clean.
• Assist in preparing and setting up the counter before opening.
• Monitor availability of items and report shortages.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness of counter, tables, dining area, and workstations.
• Replenish condiments and utensils as needed.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding menu items, prices, and promotions.
• Handle minor concerns and escalate complaints to the manager on duty.
• Assist with inventory checks and reporting discrepancies.
• Prepare end-of-shift cash reports and required documentation.
• Perform opening and closing duties and secure the work area.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for accurate orders and efficient service.
• Thank customers and promote a positive dining experience.
