Job summary

Vena Energy Services (Australia) Pty Ltd seeks a Civil Engineer to oversee daily civil construction activities for power projects, including foundations, roads, and substations. You will coordinate with Owner's Engineers and BOP Contractors, review design documents, and monitor QA/QC, material deliveries, and NCRs to ensure compliance and timely handovers.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in power plant construction, wind experience preferred, and signature rights for certifications.

Qualifications

Civil Engineer with BSc or MSc in Civil Engineering.
5+ years of relevant construction engineering experience from power production plants.
Ideally experience from wind power plants.
Must have signature rights for authorities' certification.
Competency in concrete handling and testing.
Foundation and road construction experience.
Geotechnical knowledge and understanding.

Responsibilities

Oversee civil construction activities for roads, foundations, and structures daily at site.
Coordinate with Owner's Engineers and BOP Contractors on design reviews and QA/QC.
Review BOP design documents, site reports, and material data sheets.
Monitor variations, deliveries, NCRs, defects, and punch lists.
Support project meetings and handover readiness.
