Qualifications

• 5-7 years of wholesale credit underwriting experience in the financial sector.
• Experience underwriting corporate clients; NBFC exposure preferred.
• Background in accounting, audit, or forensic audit is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end credit underwriting for wholesale and mid-market corporate clients in the financial sector.
• Analyze financial statements, assess creditworthiness, identify risks.
• Structure and recommend credit facilities per internal policies and risk appetite.
• Collaborate with business teams to understand client requirements and ensure proper credit structuring.
• Prepare comprehensive credit appraisal notes for approval committees.
• Monitor portfolio performance and flag early warning signals and deterioration.
• Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, internal policies, and documentation standards.
• Leverage accounting/audit insights to assess financial integrity and detect red flags.
