Job summary

Fizzbuzz in Cebu, Philippines is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of our website and mobile applications. You will ensure scalability, security, and performance while mentoring junior developers.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, own WordPress, Shopify/WooCommerce, and full-stack initiatives, and drive deployment, automation, and infrastructure improvements across our digital platforms.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in software development.
Proficiency in modern programming languages & frameworks.
Experience with backend development, microservices, and API architecture.
Familiarity with cloud computing & DevOps tools.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.

Responsibilities

WordPress Development – Develop and maintain WordPress sites with PHP, JS, HTML, CSS, MySQL.
Shopify & WooCommerce – Manage e-commerce stores, themes, apps, plugins and integrations.
Full-Stack Development – Build web apps using PHP, JS, HTML, CSS, SQL.
Systems Integration – Integrate APIs, databases, sites, apps, and third-party platforms.
Hosting & Infrastructure – Manage AWS, hosting, domains, DNS, SSL, servers, cloud environments.
Maintenance & Optimization – Troubleshoot, secure, monitor, and optimize systems and sites.
Deployment & QA – Manage deployments, testing, releases with version control/tools.
Automation & Support – Build automation tools and provide technical support.
Documentation & Improvement – Maintain docs and research solutions for improvement.
