Job summary

Fizzbuzz in Cebu, Philippines is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of our website and mobile applications. You will ensure scalability, security, and performance while mentoring junior developers.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, own WordPress, Shopify/WooCommerce, and full-stack initiatives, and drive deployment, automation, and infrastructure improvements across our digital platforms.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in software development.
Proficiency in modern programming languages & frameworks.
Experience with backend development, microservices, and API architecture.
Familiarity with cloud computing & DevOps tools.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.

Responsibilities

WordPress Development – Develop and maintain WordPress sites with PHP, JS, HTML, CSS, MySQL.

WordPress Development – Develop and maintain WordPress websites, including front-end, back-end, themes, plugins, and custom features using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
Shopify & WooCommerce – Manage and customize e-commerce stores, themes, apps, plugins, and integrations using Liquid, PHP, JavaScript, and APIs.
Full-Stack Development – Develop and maintain web applications and systems using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
