Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Agentic Search) to design and build the web access infrastructure powering next-generation AI systems. You will explore how browsers interact with websites, instrument and automate browser flows, and develop scalable production systems for internet-scale workloads.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend, infrastructure, or distributed systems.
• Strong expertise in browser technologies, including Chromium architecture, browser internals, lifecycle, and instrumentation.
• Experience with Chrome DevTools Protocol (CDP) and browser automation frameworks such as Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium, or similar.
• Strong understanding of HTTP/1.1–3, TLS, DNS, and browser networking.
• Solid knowledge of cookies, browser storage, caching, redirects, session management, JavaScript execution, and client-side rendering.
• Understanding of resource loading, page lifecycle, browser networking, and fingerprinting concepts.
• Ability to investigate complex technical behavior and translate findings into production-ready systems.
• Willingness to participate in coding interviews as part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Research how modern websites communicate with browsers throughout the request and navigation lifecycle.
• Investigate browser fingerprinting, client verification, and emerging web technologies to improve access to web content.
• Build browser infrastructure and tooling for instrumentation, debugging, observability, experimentation, and performance analysis.
• Develop systems translating browser/Web research into production infrastructure at internet scale.
• Analyze browser behavior to identify engineering solutions for production deployments.
• Support multi-region, bursty workloads with robust caching and scaling strategies.
• Take end-to-end ownership of technical initiatives from research to production deployment.
